The Kotva Department Store is one of the oldest department stores in the country. It was built in the 1970s during the communist era. It is easily recognisable by its hexagonal shape.
It is located at Náměstí Republiky (Republic Square), right opposite Palladium.
Do not hesitate to explore the last floor of this department store. It has a rooftop outdoor terrace where you can have a drink and enjoy a splendid view over the rooftops of the historic centre.
