Easily recognisable by the long halls marked with large numbers, Prague Market (Pražská tržnice) is located in the Holešovice district. Definitely worth a visit, Prague Markets yield all sorts of treasures and offer a shopping experience you won’t find anywhere else in Prague. Goods range from fake Gucci t-shirts to excellent fruit and vegetables direct from the growers.
If you want to buy food, head to Hall 22. Bakery Pekářství Mšeno sells delicious sweet and savoury pastries there. In addition, there are stalls groaning with everything from fruits of the forest and mushrooms, to a selection of cheeses and various types of sausages. You can also buy flowers at the market.
If you’re feeling a little hungry, don't leave Tržnice without stopping for some Vietnamese food at bistro Tràng An (Hall 8).
