The world-renowned National Marionette Theatre is located in the heart of the Old Town. The Don Giovanni performance is the flagship of this theatre. Since it was founded in 1991, it has given thousands of performances and still enjoys huge success. Shows follow a classic 18th-century tradition and feature tall puppets designed specifically for this theatre. The opera is played in the original Italian version, a tribute to Mozart and his age.
